Do I need to know how to read music?
The method does not require any previous knowledge of music. It!s as simple as knowing the first 7 letters of the alphabet and if you can count to 4 you can play music. No experience or 'reading music' is needed. The method is great for all ages — 50 to 90+ and it’s arthritis accessible.

Do I need to own a piano or other instrument?
No. FOX MUSIC provides all music, materials, instruments, and class time. What other music instruction do you offer? We teach students of all ages and skill levels in private or group lessons. Our six-week class consists of weekly one-hour classes taught at levels, beginner through level 6. Students learn to play familiar tunes like "Just a Closer Walk with Thee,” “Love Me Tender,” and "Danny Boy” in our introductory classes. Because the program is focused
on familiar tunes, students learn quickly and make swift progress.
